Brian Alex Hansen is an actor, self-taught photographer, and lifelong cinephile, born in Patagonia, Argentina, in October 1987. He began his acting career in Buenos Aires before relocating to Mexico in 2014, where he continued performing while pursuing his path as a film director.

In 2018, he co-founded the Taller Ambulante de Fotografía and the Taller Ambulante de Cine Documental alongside fellow photographers, with the aim of making the languages of cinema and photography more accessible to communities throughout Latin America.

He recently completed his first 35mm photography book, Memento—a visual exploration of uncanny, dreamlike moments—which is available for purchase on Amazon. He is currently working on his feature-film directorial debut, La Venganza de Antonio Burboa, a western set in Cananea, Sonora—the cradle of the Mexican Revolution.
